- The keypad lights up but the gate will not move. This usually points to a failed keypad relay or a broken wire at the hinge point where the conduit flexes every time the gate cycles. The keypad can look fine while sending nothing.
- The remote works from ten feet but not from the street. The receiver antenna connection on the board has corroded or come loose. We see this often in University Park after wet winters, where condensation sits inside the control box on north-facing gates.
